On Wednesday, Portuguese side Tondela announced the transfer of 19 year old João Caiado to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In an official statement on their website, the club informed that they reached a deal with the Premier League side for the player to move on a permanent transfer.
Tondela also showed no hard feelings for the transfer, thanking Caiado for his commitment with the club and wishing him good luck for the rest of his career.
Now we expected to see some more details coming from the Portuguese press today, but there’s something even more interesting reported by Record.
They say that although the transfer has already been made official, the amount that Tondela will make with the sale is still being discussed.This is probably the first time we see a transfer fee being negotiated after the move is announced.
That probably means that Tondela really trust what Wolves are doing here.
