It’s been a busy morning for Tottenham fans, who woke up to a barrage of news regarding a potential return of Mauricio Pochettino at the club.
Pushed by certain outlets in the UK, the news was also reported in France, with TF1 journalist Julien Maynard reporting the Argentine had held talks with Daniel Levy and ‘would like to return to the Spurs bench’ as he was ‘disappointed by certain ways of doing things at PSG’.
That was then somewhat dismissed by another French journalist, Bruno Salomon, who was told by someone within the Ligue 1 club that the rumours were false, but he appears to be in the minority reporting this.
Another journalist on the other side of the Channel, Abdellah Boulma, well respected for his work, explained that the rumours regarding Pochettino’s unrest ‘aren’t completely unfounded’.
#PSG

He stated the former Tottenham manager ‘is questioning the way things are governed within the club’ as well as having a ‘not exactly idyllic relationship with the director of football’, which in this instance is Leonardo.
As things stand, ‘no decision has been taken’ regarding his future in Paris, but there is never this much smoke without fire.
Does that guarantee a return to Tottenham? No, but it does suggest things aren’t going smoothly in the French capital.
