Denis Suarez has offers from Real Betis, Sevilla and Arsenal to leave Barcelona in the mid-season transfer window.

He was at Manchester City between 2011 and 2013 and having failed during his time at the Etihad, the Spaniard wants to have another shot at showcasing his worth in the Premier League, according to Mundo Deportivo.

This is because Unai Emery trusts him and the Arsenal manager has promised the 25-year-old that he will have regular minutes at the Emirates.

Another Spanish newspaper Marca claims that Suarez is the player ‘with more options’ to leave the club and his ‘will’ is to play for Arsenal.

The Gunners want him on loan with an option to make it permanent in the summer, but the La Liga winners want guarantees that the north London club will make his move permanent after the temporary deal expires.

The failure between two clubs to reach an agreement has been the reason why Suarez’s move to Arsenal has not take shape so far. On top of that has been the renewal issue, although that’s been pushed to one side now.

Barcelona’s wish is that Suarez accepts one of the offers from Betis or Sevilla, but he doesn’t agree and there should be a solution to this saga in the ‘next few hours’.

Whether it will be Arsenal or not will be found out soon.

If it gets to lunchtime on Thursday and Suarez is holding firm, then Arsenal may well get their way.
