Among the many players who’ve been impressing in the World Cup, there’s West Ham United midfielder Nikola Vlasic.
The 25-year-old is now qualified with Croatia for the quarter-finals, and since he’s currently loaned to Torino, the Italian side starts thinking about their efforts to keep him.
As today written by Turin newspaper Tuttosport, the Serie A club can pay €15m to purchase Vlasic from West Ham at the end of the season.
However, as traditionally done by Italian clubs, they’d like to have a discount over the buying option.
However, all this World Cup success could change that scenario, because according to the report, there’s ‘a bit of competition’ for the player now.
Since manager Ivan Juric doesn’t want to give up on Vlasic, then Torino could be expected to make a bigger effort for the signing.
Either way, West Ham seem to find themselves in a comfortable situation, because if the Turin side have any second thoughts about the purchase, there are other clubs who could come up and perhaps pay even more than €15m for the midfielder.
