Paris-Saint Germain forward Jese Rodriguez has been linked with a loan move to Middlesbrough for weeks now, but there’s finally some sort of progress.
The Spaniard arrived at PSG in a £22m deal and with great fanfare, but has failed to make an impact at the club.
With just over 200 minutes of league football under his belt, Jese is looking for a loan move. Las Palmas are also reportedly keen on signing him, but Paris-Saint Germain would want him to sign for Middlesbrough.
Yesterday, L’Equipe reported Jese could seal his move to Middlesbrough in the ‘coming hours’, whilst his agent was still speaking to the Premier League club.
On Friday, L’Equipe say Jese missed training on Wednesday, as his transfer to Middlesbrough is ‘pending’.
What is curious is that Jese was back in training with PSG on Thursday, but LEquipe don’t seem to feel that’s a negative for the Middlesbrough move.
