Dejan Kulusevski’s long-term stay at Tottenham is currently ‘under discussion’ as the uncertainty at the clubs leads to doubts in Italy.
That’s according to Il Bianconero, who say that the ‘revolution in the air’ at Spurs could put an end to Kulusevski making a permanent switch.
The Sweden star is currently on loan at Tottenham, having arrived on a temporary basis from Juventus on deadline day of the January transfer window last year.
That deal is set to run until June this year at which point an obligation to buy will become active and he’ll become a permanent Tottenham player as long as they qualify for the Champions League.
They explain that the clause is now ‘under discussion’, especially since it might not end up being compulsory, but barring any surprises, the belief is he will stay in London, with Tottenham set to pay €35m after their initial €10m outlay for the 18-month loan deal.
However, there is a ‘revolution in the air’ at Spurs and that means ‘nothing can be excluded’ at Spurs at this moment in time.
In other words, the uncertainty around Antonio Conte and even Fabio Paratici means that it is not yet fully certain that Kulusevski will end up in London on a permanent basis.
