At the start of the month, we covered quotes from Lecce youngster Patrick Dorgu claiming he’s a Chelsea fan.

The 19-year-old revealed he’s an admirer of the Blues and actually dreams of playing for the Stamford Bridge side one day.

Now there’s another reason why Dorgu is being highlighted by TuttoMercatoWeb, and that’s the great first season he’s having at Lecce.

The outlet uses his love for Chelsea in the headline, and points out that he’s actually drawing interest from big clubs, with AC Milan now being attentive to him.

Dorgu arrived at Lecce in 2022, first on a loan spell from Danish side Nordsjaelland, and had his transfer made permanent for €200k last summer.

Now TuttoMercatoWeb labels him as Lecce’s ‘star’. And the club are well aware of that, as they’re getting ready for a potential sale, currently valuing him at between €10m and €15m.

With him making his love for Chelsea public, who knows if the Blues have become attentive to him and now see him shining in Italy. That would be a nice way to fulfil his dream.
