Leandro Trossard’s performance for Brighton and Hove Albion could speed up transfer efforts from Chelsea.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who reported before Saturday’s game that the Blues would be keeping a close eye on the Belgian.
He’s been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea for several weeks following Graham Potter’s move from Brighton.
The forward has consistently been asked about the potential transfer and even admitted he would push for it if Chelsea came calling.
In the meantime, he continues to shine for Brighton and Tavolieri reported today that the Blues are ‘watching more than carefully’ how he is performing.
According to the journalist his performance in Saturday’s clash could ‘speed up the interest’ from Stamford Bridge.
That information came before the game kicked off on the south coast, in which Trossard bagged the opening goal of the 4-1 win with a superb individual strike and continued his fine form this season.
Indeed, he was a menace to Chelsea’s backline throughout, something that surely won’t have gone unnoticed and will likely spark a whole slew of new rumours.
