Jude Bellingham and his agents are ‘demanding concrete offers’ from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City before they decide on the midfielder’s future.
That’s according to SportBILD, who cover the player today and the ‘significant disruptive factor’ his future is proving to be in the Borussia Dortmund dressing room.
They explain that Bellingham’s future is an ‘ever growing topic’ at the German club, who are preparing themselves for an assault next summer as the Englishman continues to impress.
All of the big clubs are believed to be keen on Bellingham’s signature, with the Premier League, and particularly Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City, all casting admiring glances at him.
This has started to annoy Borussia Dortmund, with ‘many players’ at the club already annoyed by the player’s ‘sometimes derogatory body language’ on the pitch.
His status as the third captain in the squad is seen as a ‘controversial’ one that is causing problems and endangering the newly established hierarchy at the club.
Bellingham is ploughing on regardless, though, with his family currently ‘demanding concrete offers’ from the big, interested parties such as Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
The plan for him is to further strengthen his negotiating position during the World Cup, after which Dortmund will ask him for a meeting, during which the player will officially tell them his thoughts about leaving.
At the moment the England star is very much being presented as the bad guy, which is a common occurrence at Dortmund when big name players are set to depart in the near future.
They have something of a habit of criticising players in the months leading up to their high-profile departure, with Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland both on the receiving end in the last two years.
Bellingham is the latest big-name departure so it seems he’s getting the same treatment, not that his Premier League suitors will be listening.
