Celtic signed Álex Valle on loan from Barcelona last summer and Brendan Rodgers’ side cut short his stay in January. The La Liga giants let the left-back join Como on a fresh loan deal in the winter market.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick was keen on retaining him in the squad, but Valle decided to join Celtic.
The Spaniard came up through the ranks of Barca’s youth system and hasn’t made an appearance for their first team so far. His decision to join Celtic on loan has allowed him to play in the Champions League for the first time in his career.
He’s played over 1,000 minutes from 15 games under Brendan Rodgers’ orders, managing five assists in the process. The Catalan club took him away from Celtic Park and placed him at Como, and Valle has been featuring regularly for Cesc Fàbregas’ side.
Mundo state the player has created ‘positive impressions’ at both the Scottish club and Como and this has caught Borussia Dortmund’s attention.
BVB followed him at Celtic and continue to watch him closely at Como, but haven’t made an offer yet.
Valle’s contract expires in 2026 and Mundo state it has a €6m clause. After impressing at Celtic and Como, he could be on the move in the summer window.
