Paris Saint-Germain youngster Oumar Camara won’t be moving to Rangers this summer, according to L’Equipe.
The 18-year-old is a product of the Ligue 1 winners’ youth system and has represented their U18s and U19s so far. He hasn’t made his debut for the senior team and is unlikely to do so.
Camara’s contract expires at the end of this month and he was expected to join Rangers on a free transfer this summer.
On May 17th, RMC Sport reported the Champions League winners offered the forward a professional contract.
RMC Sport even stated the French youngster has reached an agreement in principle with Rangers for a long-term contract.
L’Equipe cover that and report the youngster ‘won’t be joining’ Russell Martin’s side this summer.
Sinc RMC’s report, Rangers have partnered with 49ers Enterprises and appointed Russell Martin as their new manager. L’Equipe state that due to these two developments, Camara won’t be moving to Ibrox.
They add he won’t be staying at PSG either, meaning he is expected to join a new club on a free transfer.
