Las Palmas goalkeeper Alvaro Valles has made it clear he’s more than open to a transfer this summer, if the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers want him.
The goalkeeper has been speaking to El Tercer Tiempo de Movistar Plus, relayed by UD Las Palmas.net.
Valles has been heavily linked with a move away from Las Palmas in the coming months after impressing for the Spanish side this season.
His current contract expires next season and he’s refused to sign the new offers presented to him, meaning Las Palmas will likely be forced to sell in the summer to avoid losing him on a free next year.
There has already been interest in the Premier League, with Nottingham Forest seeing a bid rejected in January and Wolves emerging as strong suitors after that.
They were first linked back in February and have continued to be from that point, with it claimed they’d already been in contact this month and Marca then following that up last week by stating confidently that they’ll make a bid at some point.
The growing belief is that the goalkeeper could be on his way to Molineux, at the very least on his way out of Las Palmas, and he’s now hinted he’s more than open to a transfer if it’s offered.
“I’m very well here, if one day I have to try it I’m not going to say no,” he said.
“They are experiences, this is my first experience away from home and I’ve been away for six years and if there is a new experience when it has to come, I welcome it.”
