Ever since Manchester United announced that a deal had been agreed with Real Madrid for Raphaël Varane, fans have been keen to catch a glimpse of the Frenchman.

Brought in to partner Harry Maguire at the heart of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad, the centre-back will likely help reduce the amount of goals conceded, thus taking the Red Devils higher up the table and fighting for more titles.

Either way, there has been very little news about a medical as the player sat through the quarantine protocol ahead of the next steps.

Well, RMC Sport in France claim that Varane ‘will undergo his medical with Manchester United tonight’ before his signing ‘being made official on Wednesday’ by the Premier League club.

The player arrives at Old Trafford after spending the last 10 years at Real Madrid, where he totalled an impressive 360 appearances, scored 17 goals and assisted another seven.

He has won the Champions League four times during his career, as well as a World Cup with France and three La Liga titles.
