Felipe Anderson’s loan move from West Ham to FC Porto went badly pretty quickly. There were fast rumours coming out of the Portuguese club that the Brazilian hadn’t exactly shown he was raring for the challenge when he arrived.

That saw messages sent out about Felipe Anderson needing to realise he wasn’t on a gap year at Porto and needed to be respectful given the size of the club he’d arrived at.

In total, the West Ham owned man has managed just 49 minutes of Liga NOS football so far this campaign. He’s been out of more Porto squads than he’s been involved in, and his last league appearance came in October.

At the beginning of the week, the 28-year-old’s agent Juliana Gomes, who is also his sister, told the Portuguese media there’d been no contact from either West Ham or Porto about ending the loan move this month.

Then a couple of days ago Porto manager Sérgio Conceição was asked directly about the situation, and said“He’s part of the work group.

“As long as he’s here training with us, I always count with all the players.”

Felipe Anderson has this weekend spoken to a radio station which covers his previous club Lazio. That’s given the Italian media a chance to give their view on his future.

Calciomercato say the player ‘will return to West Ham’ this month, and that AC Milan are ‘seriously considering’ him.

Such a move would be hugely fortunate, although there may be issues with a transfer given he’s already represented two clubs so far this season.
