Leeds United’s Mateusz Klich has made two starts this season and both of them came in the EFL Cup.
The midfielder was restricted to substitute’s role in the Premier League and lack of regular game time with the Whites saw him miss out on the Poland squad for the World Cup.
Due to this, WP SportoweFakty reported earlier this month there are many indications the 32-year-old is likely to leave Leeds United in January. It was also explained Klich has attracted interest from DC United and Royal Antwerp.
Wayne Rooney’s side are edging closer towards completing the deal for the player if the latest claim from Foot Mercato journalist Sébastien Denis is to be believed.
Denis took to Twitter to explain the Pole ‘will leave’ Leeds United in the winter market and is set to join the MLS side. The operation is believed to be at an advanced stage as the journalist adds the deal is ‘95% completed’.

Klich’s contract runs down in 2024 and there’s no indication of the fee Jesse Marsch’s side will collect from his sale.
