After claims that Birmingham City had presented the best offer for Inter’s George Puscas, it seems Reading FC are the ones who have won the race.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the player is on his way to England on Wednesday afternoon, where he will reportedly sign a five year contract with the Championship club today once he arrives on this side of the Channel.
The fee isn’t mentioned, but there was talk of Inter hoping to make close to €10m from the Romania international.
Either way, an ‘agreement has been reached’ between the two clubs, and Puscas is ‘ready for his new adventure in England’.
Reading are ‘waiting for him’ to arrive, where he will hopefully help the Royals improve on their 20th finish from last season.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Palermo in Serie B where he scored nine goals and assisted teammates three times in 33 appearances.
