According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray attacker Baris Alper Yilmaz would be interested in a move to Nottingham Forest.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a transfer to the Premier League side since the summer, after his performances at Euro 2024.

Yeni Safak today report on Nottingham Forest’s pursuit for Yilmaz following recent reports they are still trying to sign the player.

We recently covered reports that they will make a fresh attempt to land the right winger after tabling a bid for him during the last window. There were also claims last week the English side sent scouts to get a further lowdown on him.

The Turkish media outlet report Yilmaz ‘warmly welcomes’ the offer from Forest, but it’s looking likely they will have wait until the next window to sign him.

Again, West Ham United’s interest is reported after claims in the past week the Hammers have made an offer for the forward.

Like Nottingham Forest’s offer in the summer, this was reportedly rejected by Cimbom and it seems both clubs will have to be patient with regards to signing the Turkey international.

Yilmaz is contracted to Gala until June 2027.
