Through the entire season, we’ve seen the Italian media going back and forth with claims saying Diogo Dalot may or may not stay at AC Milan following his loan spell from Manchester United.

The fullback had ups and downs for the Rossoneri, but seems to be proving himself over the past few weeks, as he’s been a useful player in the squad.

Now Calcio Mercato brings a new argument on why the 22-year-old could really stay at San Siro on a permanent deal, and that’s his personal wish.

The website says Dalot ‘wants to stay with the Rossoneri in the next season’, even though that move will not only depend on him, but mainly on Manchester United.

The report points out that Dalot was one of the few players who ‘saved’ themselves in the disappointing match against Cagliari, as the player continues to ‘grow’ in these final matches of the season for Milan.

This time, Calcio Mercato doesn’t say the figures Dalot will be negotiated for. Italian outlets have been claiming the price could vary between €10m and €15m, with the Serie A side perhaps even pushing for another loan, this time with a buying option.
