Player ‘wants to leave’ Everton after one season – Agent to take advantage of Toffees’ ‘very delicate’ situation

Everton were successful in completing a deal to sign Beto from Udinese last summer, after they failed to sign him in the January 2023 market.

The striker has managed five goals and two assists from 36 games, including three goals in the Premier League.

There’s been uncertainty over whether Everton’s prospective owners, 777 Partners, will be able to complete the takeover, and it’s now looking off the table. The Toffees have also received points deductions on two occasions this season for breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

It’s explained the 26-year-old’s agent could take advantage of the difficult situation at Everton, to offer his client to Serie A sides, including Inter Milan and AC Milan, in the next window.

The report states the Nerazzurri are rejecting the idea of signing Beto, while Milan could also end up turning down the opportunity, even if Everton were to let him leave on loan with the right to buy.
