Brentford striker Halil Dervişoğlu wants to leave the club ‘as soon as possible’ as Beşiktaş continue to work on a deal for him.
That’s according to journalist Gökmen Özcan, who says a deal for him to move to Turkey is expected to be ‘finalised for a low fee’.
Dervişoğlu has returned to Brentford following an unsuccessful loan spell at Burnley last season but is not a part of the Bees plans moving forwards.
He is expected to leave the club in the coming weeks and Beşiktaş are keen to sign him, with several reports indicating that they would like to secure a free transfer deal with a future sale percentage clause included.
They’ve been working on that with Brentford and Sporting Director Ceyhun Kazancı confirmed as much today, insisting his side did not want to pay a transfer fee for the striker.
The striker wants to join Beşiktaş ‘as soon as possible’ so he can be a part of their pre-season preparations and fully acclimatise to his new club.
He is currently waiting for transfer negotiations to be concluded but the deal is expected to be ‘finalised for a low fee’, despite Kazancı’s comments.
