Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the picture to sign Flamengo’s Wesley França, according to a report from Brazil.

The Brazilian club signed the 20-year-old from Atlético Tubarão in 2021 and after initially settling for a limited role, he has enjoyed more game time this year. The right-back has scored two goals and registered an assist from 56 games.

His displays seem to have caught the attention of Brighton, Crystal Palace and Wolves. According to Coluna do Fla, the Brazilian has received surveys from the Premier League trio, who are all ‘keen’ to secure his services next month.

It’s further explained that Roberto De Zerbi’s side, the Eagles and Wolves have contacted the player’s agent over a potential deal. The report adds there is a ‘great chance’ for him to leave his current employer in the winter market.

Wesley’s deal lasts until December 2025 and with the three English clubs keen on signing him in January, Flamengo are waiting to receive official offers.

Coluna do Fla state Flamengo will only sell the fullback if there’s a convincing proposal but make no mention of the fee needed to please the South American club.

They also don’t mention who among Brighton, Crystal Palace and Wolves are ahead in the transfer race.
