Rapid Vienna winger Nicolas Kühn is waiting for the green light to travel to Glasgow and complete a move to Celtic.
That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who says the two sides are close to finding an agreement and Brendan Rodgers is pushing for the move to happen.
According to his information, Celtic have reached a verbal agreement with the Austrian club over the 24-year-old, who wants to make the move to Celtic Park.
They’re now working on the final details of a move that will see Celtic pay around €3.5m with add-ons for the winger, who will sign a contract with the Scottish champions until 2028.
A move is progressing quickly and Kuhn has been left out of Rapid Vienna’s squad for a friendly game today and head of flying to Scotland for a medical and to sign his contract.
Indeed, according to Plettenberg he is currently waiting for the green light from Celtic and Rapid Vienna to let him fly and finalise the transfer, indicating that talks between the two sides are going well and he’ll be wearing the famous green and white hoops sooner rather than later.
