Bristol City are close to completing a deal for Rapid Vienna youngster Fally Mayulu, with the two clubs negotiating a deal on Wednesday.
That’s according to Kurier, who say Mayulu will be departing the Austrian side this summer and is already on his way to Bristol City.
According to their information, Bristol City and Rapid Vienna negotiated all of the terms of an agreement for the striker on Wednesday, with the final deal set to be worth €3.5m.
The 21-year-old has now been given permission to travel to England to undergo a medical with his new club and once that is completed, he will sign a deal with the Championship side.
Rapid Vienna have been warding off interest in Mayulu for several months, first rejecting a €1.5m bid and then a €2.5m offer for him.
Several clubs were in the mix for his signature and that led to his price rising significantly to €3.5m, with Bristol City making that offer and it now accepted.
That figure represents a big profit for the Austrian side, who signed the striker on a free transfer from Blau-Weiß Linz just a year ago.
