Senegalese youngster Yaya Diémé is set to spend time bouncing between Chelsea and Strasbourg after agreeing a four-year deal with BlueCo.
That’s according to Taggat, who report that the 17-year-old is set to join Strasbourg in January 2026 when he turns 18-years-old.
Diémé currently plays for Diambars Football Club but has quickly been targeted by BlueCo as they continue to snap up talent from around the world.
Taggat report that he has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the group, who are owners of Chelsea and Strasbourg.
The plan is for him to head to France in 2026, but he will spend 2025 flitting between Chelsea and Strasbourg, participating in training camps at both clubs to help him prepare for his transfer.
This seems to be part of the ongoing plan for BlueCo with both clubs, as they’ve already sent several young players from Chelsea to Strasbourg to gain experience in France and then potentially take them to the Premier League.
Whether that is the plan for Diémé remains to be seen but he’ll be at Chelsea across this year as they plan for his future either way.
