in December. He made eight league appearances so far this season and his long-term future needs to be clarified.
AS state Villarreal are ‘waiting for offers’ if he doesn’t sign an extension. His contract lasts until 2026 and without a renewal, the summer window will be Villarreal’s last chance to make cash from his sale.
For now, Foyth’s future is unknown, and Villarreal will look to sell him without a contract extension. In that event, Aston Villa can try again to sign the South American in the next window.
