Everton are increasingly busy in the transfer window, and one of the latest names to pop up for the Toffees is Tanner Tessmann.
The 22-year-old signed for Venezia in 2021, but the club were relegated that season. They’ve just been promoted and the midfielder picked up some experience in Serie B.
Inter Milan have secured the 2-time US international on a permanent transfer but Corriere dello Sport report manager Simone Inzaghi has been informed he won’t have the player next season.
Indeed, he’s out of the squad and will be loaned elsewhere, with it not even sounding like he’ll have the chance to impress during pre-season.
Corriere dello Sport report the two locations at the forefront are Everton and Ipswich Town. It would surely be fortunate for Tessmann to get a move to either, especially when they wouldn’t be profiting from any progression.
Such a move would benefit Inter Milan, yet there’s a big question mark over whether it would be a good deal for either Premier League club.
Serie B to England’s top flight is quite the jump, and Tessmann would obviously take time to adapt.
Everton and Ipswich Town may well find better options in the market, rather than helping Inter Milan’s likely aim to turn a quick profit.
