Ivan Perisic’s departure from Inter Milan will surely be a hot topic in the summer, and the Italian media has already started cooking it.

Tuttosport says the player continues to be focused on joining a Premier League club, which is his dream, and the Nerazzurri seem available to sell for the right price.

It’s recalled that Arsenal tried to sign Perisic in January, although the Croatian star would rather join Tottenham.

But Spurs’ offer wasn’t good enough, as it was a loan with an option to buy in the next transfer window.

Tuttosport says that Inter would have been ready to sell Perisic for €40m in January, but Tottenham would have had to have offered that up front or use an obligatory buying clause, which never happened.

It was a similar situation with Arsenal.

With Perisic not being at his peak this season, Tuttosport says this price should drop to €35m in the summer, while the player continues to have feelings for Tottenham.

Inter, however, hope Perisic can find his good form again so they can sell him for over €40m. As he’s protected with a contract running until 2022, there’s no rush to find a deal.
