Last week, Estadio Deportivo reported West Ham United have approached Yunus Musah’s camp to register their interest in him. It was also stated the player and Valencia are both keen on a transfer.
Today’s edition of AS has a short report on the 20-year-old, titled: ‘West Ham interested in Yunus Musah’.
Within the report, it’s said the midfielder is one of the assets of the La Liga side to ‘make cash’ in this window.
Operating mainly in the middle of the pitch, he managed two assists from 37 games last season.
The report states the American’s performances, youth, projection and having a UK passport is an ‘incentive’ for several Premier League teams, ‘especially West Ham’.
The Hammers are the only English club mentioned and the newspaper also makes it clear they haven’t submitted an offer for Musah so far.
The player, for his part, should ‘shortly decide his fate’.
Online, AS say several Premier League sides would be ‘interested in hiring’ the player, but they point out ‘there is a special interest’ from West Ham.
The possibility of Musah moving to Germany or Italy also shouldn’t be ruled out.
It’s now down to David Moyes’ side to make an offer, if they want to bring Musah to London.
