On Thursday there were growing rumours of Paris Saint Germain’s chase for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Reports from France had, at first, been saying that there’s interest in signing the 25-year-old on loan with an option to buy, and then an update pointed out the ‘hypothesis of a swap’.
Now as RMC Sport journalist Loic Tanzi brings more claims on the talks between PSG and Spurs, it’s now said that other players are indeed getting mentioned in the conversation.
He says that when speaking of a swap, Tottenham brought the name of Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes to the table.
That move, however, doesn’t sound very likely, because according to Tanzi, the player ‘does not want to leave’ the Parisian side right now.
What seems clear is that with the journalist bringing several updates in a short period of time, the clubs are indeed in discussions for the move. Ndombele, who only has 16 appearances for Spurs this season, has also been linked with a transfer to Italy.
