Sporting midfielder Adrien Silva has been living a strange affair with Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Although a deal between the clubs was said to be close, it was then said Tottenham had given up on the signing, and that’s how it stayed until today.
According to the newspaper, Adrien believes Tottenham are a fresh new, and good, offer, which should match the €30m-€35m demanded by Sporting.
Tottenham would have no problems regarding personal terms, since the project and financial offer are way better than what West Brom showed the player.
A Bola claims that Tottenham still haven’t done any business this summer because they have transfers saved for August, and in case Adrien Silva arrives, he’ll be at the upper end of their signings this window.
Sport Witness have been doubtful about Adrien to Tottenham claims all summer. The midfielder doesn’t fit the usual profile Mauricio Pochettino goes for, and the Portuguese press do love exaggerating a rumour, but they are persistent on this one and refuse to let it go.
