Manchester City have completed a deal for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Mahamadou Sangaré, who will join on a five-year deal.
That’s according to RMC Sport, who report that the 18-year-old has now signed a deal to join Manchester City on a free transfer this summer.
They state that Sangaré has signed the first professional contract of his career with Manchester City. He will move to the Etihad on a five-year deal.
He’s already successfully passed a medical with Pep Guardiola’s side and will join them officially on July 1st.
His departure will come as a great blow to PSG, who are ‘losing a great talent’. Sangaré finished this season as the join top scorer in the UEFA Youth League, with eight goals to his name. He has 42 goals and four assists in 46 games for PSG’s U19 side. He’s also made his debut for France’s U18 side.
Reports earlier this year had made it clear that PSG were keen to sign him to a new deal, but Manchester City have instead managed to secure him instead. He’ll now join at the start of next month, with a five-year deal and medical now done.
