Belgian side OH Leuven are finalising the details with Millwall for midfielder Casper de Norre, who is close to joining the Lions.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who says the 26-year-old has left the Belgian’s summer camp and is ‘already in London’ ahead of the move.
He reports that if De Norre can pass a medical, which is scheduled for tomorrow, the central midfielder will sign a three-year contract with an optional year included.
He’s been with Leuven since 2020, when he initially joined on loan from KRC Genk, with the move made into a permanent one in 2021 for €1m.
He’s managed nine goals and 12 assists in 95 games for the club and managed five goals and four assists in 36 games in all competitions last season.
Those numbers have seemingly convinced Millwall that he’s the man for them and a deal is now progressing, with a medical planned for tomorrow and the midfielder already in London ready to undertake it.
