Fluminense sensation Kayky will be joining Manchester City in January 2022, according to reports from the Brazilian media.

UOL writes that following the Premier League side’s deal to sign the youngster, they should have him available in England in the first week of next year.

The report recalls that Manchester City spent €10m to sign the striker. Since he turns 18-years-of-age in June, he could be moving in the summer.

Fluminense, however, certainly worked to have the player for longer, since that makes him able to play through the Brazilian season, playing the league, the cup and the Copa Libertadores.

UOL writes that by Pep Guardiola’s request, Kayky should first work with the academy and then make a ‘transition process’ to the first team.

The striker made his debut for Fluminense this year, and his potential has been impressing both the Brazilian and the foreign media. In two starts, he has two goals, including the beauty scored against Nova Iguaçu at the weekend.
