SportBild yet again cover Christian Pulisic’s future in their magazine this week, and it’s no surprise to see Chelsea linked.
In fact, for this edition it’s only the Stamford Bridge club getting a mention, as SportBild cover their efforts to get a deal done in the winter market.
It’s explained Chelsea have made an offer in recent weeks, at the end of November, and that’s something which was previously covered by the reliable Ruhr Nachrichten.
But Borussia Dortmund, finding themselves in a battle for the Bundesliga title, have put a stop on any players, who will be of use, leaving in the January transfer window.
Pulisic ‘sees his future in England’, explains SportBild, and the player’s father Mark and agent Rob Moore are both said to have told Michael Zorc this… and that the player doesn’t intend to extend his current deal.
That contract expires in June 2020, putting BVB under pressure to sell next summer, however, Chelsea have been trying to force the issue for the winter window.
Like reports from Italy about Blues interest in Serie A players have detailed, the London club are said to be worried about a transfer ban potentially starting in the summer, hence their attempts to push a deal through.
Dortmund are holding firm.
