After spending a season at Portuguese side Sporting, the player is now expected to present himself at Arsenal once again, where his future is yet to be decided.
The attacker has said goodbye to the Sporting squad before moving to London, but he shouldn’t miss the Portuguese capital much.
The Arsenal owned player finished his season at the club with 28 appearances, three goals and four assists. He spent most of the time playing on the right wing, but was also given chances as a second striker.
Campbell was never able to convince, though, and hasn’t started a game since January. He ended up being left out of most of the matches towards the end of the league, getting just a few minutes in some of them.
With Arsenal contract expiring in 2018, it’s time for Arsene Wenger to make a decision over his situation.
