As Lucas Moura prepares to leave Tottenham Hotspur, the Brazilian media today shares some news on his departure from the London side.
Goal features a story claiming that as the attacker will not renew his deal with Spurs, he believes he can get ‘the last good contract’ of his career.
The story claims that one of his requests once he leaves Tottenham is that this new contract package reaches €10m. That includes salaries, signing bonuses and agent comissions.
In the past few months, we’ve seen several stories claiming Moura’s former club São Paulo would like to try to have him back now.
But according to Goal, they’re not willing to pay that amount, especially because they’re in a ‘financial crisis’.
The 30-year-old doesn’t seem keen on a return to Brazil ether. It’s said he received offers from the Premier League, the MLS, the Italian Serie A and Qatar, as he’s reportedly asking for a three-year contract.
Rarely used by Tottenham this season, Moura has one goal in 12 appearances, and has mostly entered the pitch in the final minutes of matches.
