Milliyet report Badou Ndiaye has told Stoke City board that he wants to leave the club in order to join Galatasaray.

The Senegal international has been linked with a return to his former club just months after signing for Stoke City from the Turkish champions.

Ndiaye has reportedly told Stoke City: “We are not going to play in the Premier League next season. So you are trying to lower the wages. Let me join Galatasaray. This could be a win-win situation for all parties involved.”

They like paraphrasing in Turkey, and that quote very much looks like a case of it.

According to Milliyet, Galatasaray have convinced Ndiaye he’ll have to earn less if he returns to Istanbul by offering €2.75m a season.

This would be €750K less than he currently earns at Stoke City, but the player is willing to make such sacrifices to get a move to Turkey.

Talks between both clubs are progressing well and the Turkish website say they are separated by €1m with regards to loan fee.
