KRC Genk defender Daniel Munoz ‘refuses to train’ at the club as he is trying ‘force’ through a move to Crystal Palace.
That’s according to Het Belang van Limburg, who say the defender skipped training today to try and make his stance clear.
The newspaper reports that Munoz’s head ‘has long been interested’ in a move to Crystal Palace, who have been linked with him for most of this month.
He had to be convinced to play last weekend in the clash against Cercle Brugge and has now skipped training in an attempt to force through the move.
Negotiations between Crystal Palace and Genk are ongoing, but the Premier League side are yet to meet Genk’s requirements for the time being.
A report earlier today claimed that Crystal Palace had already agreed on personal terms with the player and that the next 48 hours would be decisive to the potential transfer taking place.
Perhaps it is because of that agreement being in place Munoz has now decided to skip training in an attempt to push things along and get the move he clearly wants.
