Aaron Ramsey has been linked with a return to the Premier League since not long after he signed for Juventus in 2019.

The Wales international has been linked with West Ham, Newcastle United and Everton repeatedly, and those claims have returned to the rumour mill over the past week.

TuttoJuve report Ramsey prefers a move to Everton, over the likes of Newcastle and West Ham. There’s no reason given for that, but it’s said that signing for Rafa Benitez’s side is the option the player ‘likes best’ out of the three clubs.

When signing Ramsey from Arsenal on a free transfer, Juventus handed out huge wages to the midfielder, and that’s part of the reason it’s proving difficult to offload him. According to the claims, the 30-year-old isn’t prepared to give up money on his contract, which lasts until 2023.

Therefore, TuttoJuve believe Juventus could decided to sell him for less than their €10m valuation. The idea is that Ramsey would be allowed to leave for €5m, and he’d get a cut of the transfer, which would compensate him for the lower wages he’d receive at his new club.

Whether Everton, or even West Ham or Newcastle, take the bait remains to be seen.
