In the last window, Arsenal were one of the clubs to be credited with interest in Sacha Boey but were unable to take him away from Galatasaray.

Back in June, the right-back had admitted that he was flattered with the reports linking him to the north London club. The 23-year-old is reportedly still on the Gunners’ agenda and has ‘managed to attract’ their attention again.

That’s according to Fotospor, who say Arsenal will have a scout in attendance to watch Boey closely when Galatasaray face Beşiktaş in their derby later today.

The Premier League side will keep an eye on several Galatasaray players, including Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Abdülkerim Bardakcı and Victor Nelsson, but Boey is said to be the ‘favourite’ target for them.

Fotospor add clubs from Spain, Italy and France will also be watching the fullback. Mikel Arteta’s side may have an advantage as the defender had earlier expressed his dream to play in the Premier League.

On Tuesday, Galatasaray will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and an earlier report from Fotospor had stated that the Arsenal scout will be in Istanbul for this clash.

Boey has scored one goal from 16 matches this season.
