Player has ‘personal weakness’ for Manchester United – Would be tempted to move there

All of a sudden, Manchester United are again getting linked to Antoine Griezmann.

This is a story which started to grow in the Spanish media in the past few days, initially coming from not so reliable sources, and now it’s Sport who reports it.

The outlet comes up to say that Manchester United and Chelsea are two of the clubs who are ‘attentive’ and could soon take him to the Premier League.

And it’s the Red Devils who seem to have an advantage, as they’re said to be his ‘personal weakness’, as he has feelings for the club and is a big fan of David Beckham.

Atlético Madrid are said to have their hands tied, because since his return to the club, he’s said to have a release clause worth just €25m.

Griezmann has 12 goals in 16 appearances for the Colchoneros this season, and that’s why the La Liga side are hopeful of convincing him to stay.

We’re still to see reliable reports about Manchester United wanting to sign him, especially at the age of 32, but in case they do choose to go after him, it seems they’d have a chance.
