Napoli midfielder Jens Cajuste has given his yes to Ipswich Town and he is now travelling to undergo a medical at the club.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who reports that Cajuste is ‘on the road’ heading for Ipswich to complete the deal.
According to his information, medical tests have been scheduled for today for the Napoli midfielder with an agreement in place between the two sides.
He reports that Napoli and Ipswich have long agreed on a season-long loan deal for the midfielder, and it has always been Cajuste’s choice that has been key to moving things along.
It seems he was weighing up his options, with several other sides also believed to be in the mix and even claims that Everton had made a late request for information.
We suggested that they may have been used to try and push Ipswich along and it certainly seems to have been the case as the matter has quickly progressed this week following the first mention of the Toffees.
Now a decision has been made, Cajuste has accepted the idea and is ‘on the road’, travelling for a medical to become the latest signing in what is becoming a busy week for Ipswich.
