This week we covered claims from Turkey that Galatasaray are planning to send Jean Michael Seri back to Fulham in the January transfer window following a disappointing start with the Super Lig side.
Today Turkish newspaper Fanatik has reported on the latest developments regarding the future of the 28 year old, and they say he was given one final chance by Galatasaray manager Faith Terim to prove himself against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
However, the Fulham loanee failed to perform during Gala’s 6-0 loss and a return to the London side is now looking more of a possibility in January.
Fanatik also report Galatasaray will hold talks with Fulham in the near future with regards to sending him back to the Championship club.
The Turkish side paid a €1.8m loan fee to secure Seri for the season, and it’s unclear what Fulham would make of a return.
This season the former Nice player has played 11 games for the Istanbul side, scoring one goal. His contract with Fulham will expire at the end of June 2022.
