Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports Largie Ramazani has been of interest to Leeds United this summer.
The Championship side will be working as hard as possible to bring in any improvements they can in the final weeks of the transfer window, as they desperately try to get themselves back to Premier League football.
Tavolieri reports the UD Almeria player has been one of their targets, and he goes as far as to say Leeds United have tried to sign the player this summer.
Besiktas and AEK Athens have also been keen, but instead Ramazani is now in talks with Almeria to renew his contract with them until June 2028.
Almeria were relegated to LaLiga2 last season, having finished second to last in Spain’s top division.
The 23-year-old played 31 games across a variety of attacking positions, scoring four goals and contributing five assists.
After moving to London with his family as a child, he joined Charlton Athletic’s youth system before moving to Manchester United and spending three years with them.
Having failed to make the breakthrough with the Red Devils he signed for Almeria as a free agent in 2020 and has been there since.
