Following earlier reports regarding Newcastle United’s agreement with Real Sociedad for the transfer of Alexander Isak, the Spanish media now brings the quick developments this case is having.

According to Cadena COPE reporter Marco Antonio Sande, the player is already ‘flying to England’ to sign his contract with the Magpies.

The outlet backs up the other reports to say that Newcastle are paying €70m for the player with potential other €5m in performance bonuses, with Real Sociedad keeping 10% of a future transfer.

They also recall that the player was protected by a €90m release clause.

Isak’s move to the Magpies was today first reported by the Spanish media, and quickly backed up by the English press as well.

Now the news about him flying make it clear that the Premier League side not only made a certain shot for the signing, but also want his quick arrival at the club.

The striker had only played two matches for Real Sociedad this season, with a goal scored against Barcelona.

Now the move to Newcastle United seems to be a matter of time.
