As Holland manager Ronaldo Koeman today announced a list of 37 players who could be in their next call-up, Tottenham Hotspur’s Arnaut Danjuma was left out.

The winger even has six appearances for the Oranje, but was not called-up for World Cup and continues to be out of the squad.

Danjuma joined Tottenham on a loan from Villarreal in January, with Spurs having an option to buy him at the end of the season.

The problem is that he only made four appearances for Antonio Conte’s side so far, with 47 minutes on the pitch.

So as the Dutch media now speaks about his situation, they wonder if this time at Tottenham is of any benefit to his national team career, as the move appears to already be costing him his spot.

FC Update today features a story only about players who missed out on the call-up, and wonders if Danjuma is already starting to ‘regret his move’ to Spurs.

It’s pointed out that by not playing for Tottenham, he’s ‘ignored’ by Koeman, and now needs to find more playing time in England so he can dream of going back to the national team one day.
