Josh Bowler could be shipped out on loan to Olympiakos by Nottingham Forest, should he complete a move from Blackpool today.

That’s according to journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos, who says the deal ‘is a possibility’ for the winger.

Bowler has emerged as a deadline day signing for Nottingham Forest, who have already agreed a deal with Blackpool to sign him.

The player is believed to be on his way for a medical with Steve Cooper’s side before making the move to the City Ground and becoming their 20th signing of the season.

However, according to Chorianopoulous, he may not be staying with Nottingham Forest for long, with a loan deal to Olympiakos a distinct possibility.

They are also owned by Forest chairman Angelos Marinakis and so occasionally act as something of a sister club to the Premier League side.

Indeed, there have already been transfers between the clubs this summer, with Nottingham Forest signing Hwang Ui-jo from Bordeaux before immediately shipping him out on loan to the Greek giants.

It seems that is something they now could do with Bowler, should his move from Blackpool be completed as expected.
