It seems that Yerry Mina’s time at Fiorentina won’t be lasting very long.
The defender moved from Everton to La Viola last summer in a free transfer, and after just six months in Italy, he’s about to go somewhere else.
According to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, the ‘most likely’ scenario is that Mina leaves Fiorentina in the coming days, as he has three offers on the table.
Olympiacos are those who made the best bid for the former Everton man, although the other two competitors aren’t named yet.
Despite recent rumours claiming that Porto are also in the race to sign him, Sierra says that no one from the Portuguese club got in touch with his entourage so far.
Mina left Everton for Fiorentina for free last summer, but his time there has been nothing short of a nightmare, as he has only played for the Italian club for 187 minutes, spread over seven appearances made this season.
Since he signed a one-year deal with the Serie A side, with a renewal conditioned to performances, there’s even a chance he could be a free agent at the end of the season.
That’s why it’s probably worth anticipating the move and finding a new club now.
