Sooner or later Everton are likely to get a call from Sevilla to see just how little they can pay to keep Sandro Ramirez at the club for longer.

The former Barcelona striker didn’t have the best time on loan for the second half of the season, failing to score a single goal, but he’s not made a secret of his desire to stay, and there’s some interest from Sevilla in making that a possibility.

A fresh loan approach is the likeliest scenario.

Estadio Deportivo, the regional Seville sport newspaper, now suggest another player could be taking the same route. Joel Robles sees his contract with Everton expire this summer, and with Sevilla perhaps looking for two goalkeepers, he’s been named as an option.

It would depend how Robles sees things because it’s unlikely Sevilla would sign him and make him first choice. Turning 28 years of age next month, Robles may decide he needs to find somewhere he’ll actually play.
