Kalidou Koulibaly is reportedly in England to complete his move to Chelsea.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the defender has just landed in London, where he’s set to sort out the final details of his transfer from Napoli to Stamford Bridge.

The report claims Koulibaly will have his ‘medical visits’ tomorrow, and will then be free to fly on Friday to Los Angeles, where he’s meeting Chelsea’s squad during their pre-season tour.

The Italian media has been on the money since the Blues engaged in serious talks for the defender, and have been following the entire process from close. When the player arrived at a Milan airport to take the flight to London, website Tutto Mercato Web had someone filming him there.

The outlet confirmed that Chelsea are signing Koulibaly in a €40m deal, always pointing out the huge pay rise he’s set to have at his new club.

The 31-year-old, who in the past few years was said to be worth a lot more, would now enter the final year of contract with Napoli, and that made things easier for his exit.
